Welcome to the Nokia Nseries N80i Blogger Relations Blog site. Here you will find blogger and media information that you can repurpose and utilize in your blog postings about the N80i.
If you are a Macintosh user you've always looked at ways to Easily transfer your videos and images off of the Nseries phones and onto your Mac.
Well you can now be very happy as the the Nokia Media Transfer. What makes this great is that it works over both USB and Bluetooth. Set up is a snap and quickly you'll see your media move between the Nseries device and the Mac.
You guessed it, nothing less than the Nokia Internet Tablet, the N800 and her trusty N80-Internet edition mobile phone.
Between the two she's really staying connected.
A new version of the VoIP client for Gizmo Project, complete with Instant Messaging for the N80-Internet Edition and N95 has been released.
Luca is one of the most prolific posters about the enjoyment he is having with the Nokia N80 Internet Edition.

His N-Series RoundUp
Luca has taken the time to look at the N80-I, N73 and N93 and provides a roundup of which Nseries phone is best for what.
Jim Courtney has reviewed the Skype cloning aspects of Fring on the N80 Internet Edition and reports mixed results on Skype Journal.
Alec Saunders blogs about how easy it is to use JaJah Mobile on the the N80 Internet Edition, but also points out some shortcomings from JaJah at the end.
Jonathan Greene wants to be a video star on his N80 Internet Edition, which has the capacity to make video calls, but only on UMTS 2100 networks.
Sorry, JG, but the service won't work in the USA as UMTS in the USA isn't exactly the same as it is elsewhere.
Ken Camp is having a problem with Shozu on the N80i and he's not getting any help from their support team.
Shozu is not official software but is a third party application that works on many Symbian phones. Hopefully he hears from them soon.
Ken Camp loves to really get under the hood with technology so it shouldn't be a surprise that he's been trying out various voice applications that work on the N80 Internet Edition beyond Gizmo Project.
He takes a look at TruPhone, Fring as well as photo sharing application Shozu in this lengthy post that's a worthy read.
This is a nice follow-up to his earlier post that was a very well thought out comparative piece on three of the Nseries phones.
Luca has some interesting comparisons between the three most recently shipped Nseries models sent to Nokia Blogger Relations participants.
An interesting and mostly flattering review about the N80i from Nokia from AvecMobile.
Overall they like the phone, but what's interesting is they found fault with things that others loved, and loved what others didn't.

Rudy De Waele summarizes his experiences with four of the Nseries phones, including the N80-i, N73, N93 and his constant companion, the N91.
Once again, this type of review helps pick out differences between each model and what makes them good for some uses, and not for others.
Om Malik of GigaOme both praises the deployment of Gizmo Project on the N80 Internet Edition and the Nokia 770 Tablet as well as scolds Nokia for not having VoIP really working on the other N and E series phones yet that have the capacity for it.
In his post Om points out the trials and tribulations of trying to get VoIP, other than GizmoProject, working on the N80i.
SmartMobs has a quick comment about the GizmoProject collaboration with Nokia via the Nseries' N80 Internet Edition.
Rudy De Waele knows mobile technology very well, and he's been experimenting with the N80's Gizmo Project feature sine literally the day the phone arrived.
As Rudy points out, as as Esme Vos has done as well, the N80 Internet Edition provides the ability to work around high roaming rates by using GizmoProject for calls over a WiFi connection.
Check out Rudy's thoughts here.
One of the most rewarding things with our Nokia Blogger Relations Program is how fast corrective steps can be taken, and how fast the world knows about it.
Pal Jonathan Greene, who like me is an ex-Philadelphian, has taken some advice and solved two issues he originally had related to zooming in with the camera lens and how to get better battery life from the N80 Internet Edition.
Ken provides a very detailed, insightful and complete assessment of the pros and cons of three different Nseries phones, each of which has different capabilities. His review is a good primer for people thinking of buying a new phone and points out the pros and cons.
He comes to the conclusion that these are not for data entry keyboard centric types. Nokia addresses that with the E-Series.
Check out Esme Vos' other post on MuniWireless and understand that her intimate knowledge of where WiFi is going makes this all the more credible.
For those of you into VoIP, this is a useful FAQ file about VoIP on the Nokia N80 Internet Edition.
Luca is forever tinkering and tweaking, trying to get the best out of everything, which is an admirable trait. For those of you who don't know Luca, he's the mind behind SitoFono, a very cool click to call platform that you can embed in your blog and make it easy to be found.
He's been putting the N80 Internet Edition through its usual paces and has made some discoveries. First how it differs from the N73 and N93, but how the high resolution display feature of the N80i makes up for that and then how to finding the very cool Google Maps application.
As Luca points out, this is a great way to get around when you don't have a GPS.
Doyen of muni-Wi-Fi, Esme Vos, who organizes the most respected conferences for cities thinking of going the 802.11 route has been having a field day shooting pictures and telling her friend Anina all about the N80 Internet Edition.
Esme's review and how relevant it is to today's mobile society is right on the money, especially when you read her comments about roaming rates for data.
MobileMag has the sneak peek at the N95, the next multimedia phone coming from Nokia's Nseries.
In a nutshell the N95 seems converge the best of the N93 and N80i into one tight and compact form factor.
Marcelo, one of the most critical of all bloggers we know thinks Nirvana is near for him with the Nokia N80 Internet Edition.
Take a read of his thoughts and see if you agree.
Unbound Spiral's Stuart, who was one of the founders of SkypeJournal is having too much fun with his N80i.
As another in a long line of VoIP experts, Stuart has the chops to know what's good and and not so good with a mobile phone and he's been rather critical in the past on some other phones.
Scroll through Roland's blog and you will find FIVE posts, including how to use TruPhone on the N80i.
His overall review can be found here.
Jonathan is learning how to use the N80i to snap photos. How to use the zooming feature will likely come to him soon.
New York's budding video maker, Jonathan Greene is having fun making videos of his Nokia N Series mobile phones.
In one of the best comparison videos around he shows the features as well as how the N80i stacks up against the N73 and the N70.
You can also read Jonathan's first thoughts on the N80i here.
For the fans of the Nseries, the new N80 Internet Edition, a phone which is an updated and very different phone from the original N80 as far as software and firmware are now in the hands of 50 of the top mobile, VoIP and content bloggers in the world.
