Fring on N80 Internet Edition

Sorry, JG, but the service won't work in the USA as UMTS in the USA isn't exactly the same as it is elsewhere.


Shozu Not That Supportive

Ken Camp is having a problem with Shozu on the N80i and he's not getting any help from their support team.

Shozu is not official software but is a third party application that works on many Symbian phones. Hopefully he hears from them soon.

Ken Camp loves to really get under the hood with technology so it shouldn't be a surprise that he's been trying out various voice applications that work on the N80 Internet Edition beyond Gizmo Project.

He takes a look at TruPhone, Fring as well as photo sharing application Shozu in this lengthy post that's a worthy read.

This is a nice follow-up to his earlier post that was a very well thought out comparative piece on three of the Nseries phones.

Avec Mobile on the N80i

An interesting and mostly flattering review about the N80i from Nokia from AvecMobile.

Overall they like the phone, but what's interesting is they found fault with things that others loved, and loved what others didn't.
