Author Matthew Devost is off and running with his review of a purchased N80-Internet Edition.

It's a well written, thoughtful and detailed first impression type of review.

One thing. The Gizmo Project software is found by downloading it from the Catalog within the download icon found on the phone in the Internet folder. No CD ROM is needed.

Om Malik of GigaOme both praises the deployment of Gizmo Project on the N80 Internet Edition and the Nokia 770 Tablet as well as scolds Nokia for not having VoIP really working on the other N and E series phones yet that have the capacity for it.

In his post Om points out the trials and tribulations of trying to get VoIP, other than GizmoProject, working on the N80i.

Rudy De Waele knows mobile technology very well, and he's been experimenting with the N80's Gizmo Project feature sine literally the day the phone arrived.

As Rudy points out, as as Esme Vos has done as well, the N80 Internet Edition provides the ability to work around high roaming rates by using GizmoProject for calls over a WiFi connection.
